I was recently flooded and washer got about a foot of water in it. The washer was not running but the cord was plugged in. The washer is one of the high efficiency front loaders. When I turn the washer on the door locks, the timer comes on, and the washer starts to fill up with water. Then after about five seconds the water stops and nothing else happens but the timer keeps counting down. I thought maybe the circuit board in the bottom of the cabinet could have been shorted out and maybe have an open component. The circuit board was under water. The part number for the board on this web site is AP3968010. Maybe I am wrong, I am not an appliance repair man. Please help and thanks.

If the electronic board got wet I would say it's shot for sure, but there could have been other damage done too if you tried to run it that way.

I did'nt run it while it was wet. I took it outside and cleaned it all up, then I let it dry for about a week and made sure it was all dry and these were the problems I had after that. It read a code F28, thank you for replying I appreciate your help.
