The microwave first started on the fritz when we would heat things and it seemed to over heat. Power would shut off, we could unplug let cool, replug in and it would work again. It did this a total of 4times over a 4wk period. The last two times it did not overheat, but just turned off. The last time there was a pop noise and sizzle and now will not turn on. There is no power at all, the digital screen is blank, the light does not turn on in the inside when the door is opened. What happened and is this economically fixable.
Thanks. CAS

CAS,
One of the most common problems with Ewave microwaves is a loose blade on the cooling fan, causing the magnetron to overheat.
At this time looks like the magnetron, the magnetron TCO and the fan blade have to be replaced. I do not think this microwave is worth fixing.
Gene.
