My dryer takes a long time to dry my clothes, I hear something click on and off as it is running and it doesn't get very hot, is it possible it is a thermostat or could it be that one of the high or low regulators is bad

I would run it without the attached ducting and see if it now works ok. If so, you need to clean your ducting. If a long run, you will need a "Lint Eater brush". They probably have it at this parts site, just call.

Thanks, I've looked at the vent and it is all clear, is there any ideas you may have.

With the dryer running go outside and make sure you have good airflow out the vent. Also take the vent off from the wall, and take a temp reading of the exhaust air with the dryer running. Should be around 180 degrees and when the heat stops, you should lose about 1 degree per second.
