I have a Hotpoint refrigerator that has humidity gathering at the top inside and than dripping onto the products and than leaking out the door.

Most likely the problem is a clogged and/or frozen drain hole under the evaporator coil in the freezer. You have to remove the rear panel in the freezer to access it. You can use a hair dryer to defrost it.
