Hi there, I just bought a used GE dishwasher (GSC3508K0088) and it's not draining properly. I used normal detergent for the first wash, and there was an overflow. Now I know I shouldn't have done that. After that, I didn't use any detergent and ran the machine for a bit, yet it still didn't drain. I disassembeled the interior parts (the filter in the back, the spray arm [part #501] and the piece where water is supposed to exit [art #506-508]) and got them cleaned. I ran the machine once with no detergent and it's still not draining. Before I bought it, the seller ran it with no detergent and it did drain. Maybe the soap caused some problems?? Please help me out on where the dishwasher may be clogged (what to check inside or in the drain hose). Thank you.

Take the bottom panel off and see if the motor is frozen up, just try and turn the motor blades until it moves freely...good luck
