The Compressor Of My Refregerator Is Not Turning On. All Other Fans Are Working. Every 2-3 Minuties The Compressor Tries To Kick On, But It Is Not. Before It Tries To Kick On ,it Makes A Brief Noise And Ends With A 'tik' Sound.the Compressor Never Starts.

The first thing I would do is replace the start device for the compressor. If it would not help then the compressor itself is bad and has to be replaced.

If the refrigerator is less then 5 years old, the compressor should be under the manufacturer warranty.

- The part number for the start device (relay and capacitor assembly) is AP3865282
