Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 4/23/2011(UTC) Posts: 1		The compressor does not start about 10% of the time. Have replaced the start/overload relay and the starting capacitor. The compressor starts fine most of the time, but sometimes it hums until the overload trips out.

If it fails during "busy" periods when the outlet voltage is low, I would suspect a hard starting compressor, either from a damaged start winding, or internal varnish buildup. If the compressor takes a relatively long time to start and the internal temperatures get too warm to safely preserve the contents, I would replace the fridg. This compressor problem may get worse, so I would keep a memory thermometer in the freezer section and check periodically.
