defrost timer i believe is gone out on it. It is not cooling like it should and ice is every where over the grill in the back. i need to knw if you can tell me if this is the problem with my refrig. Thank you:cool:

Sounds like its your deforst thermostat...take the back panel off and melt all the ice off with a blow dryer and it should work for about a week untill you get the new thermostat

Your most probable failure is the adaptive defrost board behind the control panel in the refrigerator, part # AP4070403 If the defrost thermostat looks good and the defrost heater also, that would confirm it. If you have a meter, you can test them while cold.
