I have a kenmore side by side fridge and freezer with ice maker and water. It only gets slightly cold even while on for hours. I can hear the fan in the bottom back running constantly. Definatley not cold enough to keep the food good. I don't know a lot about fridges but i am very handy. Just need to be pointed in the right direction. any help would be greatly apprectiated. thanks scott

Remove the back panel in the freezer and check the coils. If only a small area of frost, you probably have a bad compressor, or a bad freon leak. Both over $400 to fix, probably new fridg. time.
