Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 6/22/2010(UTC) Posts: 1		The fan motor quit working. So I removed the panel cover and by spinning the motor stem and then starting the dryer I got it to run. I was priming it so to speak. Is that what the capacitor is supposed to do?

You can try replacing it, and if you purchase from this site and it does not fix things you may be able to return it for a refund. See the returns policy or talk with APP before you order it. If the problem persists it may be that the motor itself is in the process of failing.
