I started a load and left the house. i returned home to find water in the bottom of the drum and most of the clothes only partially wet. I held the start and cancel button down together and received E59. After researching this it states that it could be the motor, the tub bearings, or the speed control board. I have also found some people who have changed out the door lock assembly and it has worked fine. well going through tests, i removed the belt and the motor pulley does spin. the tub pulley does not spin and seems to be locked in place. how do I check the tub bearings? do I still need to go through the rest of the test and check the pin ohms?

That's right but it's not that simple.
Gene.
