Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 7/16/2008(UTC) Posts: 1		While working, the oven began to make a poof sound. It became more frequent. Then the oven wouldn't heat. I removed the floor and discovered the oven was lighting, going off, relighting...over and over. Do I need a new igniter, gas valve or both?

If the igniter goes 'on' & 'off' then the control board is bad. - The part number for the igniter is AP205873 The control board is no longer available. Gene.
