my washmachine is loaded and runs for a while and stops, them we move the timer button and a little shake starts back up and finishes the wash.

do i have a problem with the timer or something else?

If it stops and you have to jiggle the timer in order to restart the washer then the problem most likely is a bad timer.

- The part number for the timer is AP3020189
