Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 6/10/2009(UTC) Posts: 2		Freezer Icemaker has a flap which opens when depressing the tonque to dispense ice. The icermake works fine, but the flap is allowing the outside atmosphere to get in and icing up the icemaker so the it will not dispense easily. Is there some way to reconnect the flapper which is attached but easily moved by hand? It needs to seal the dispensing shoot properly so as not to ice-up. Thanks

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 3/10/2009(UTC) Posts: 1,363		You'll probably have to remove the dispenser cover by gently prying it off and inspect the parts to see if just a spring came off or if the hinge is broken or door warped etc.

A little worried about prying off the front. Any suggestions how to do that without damaging?
