I installed a new stem and lower bearing kit on the washer. The repair went fine. Or I thought it did. The top of the tub seems to move around to much. when we get to spin the top of the tub moves around to much and squeaks against the lid. It get unbalanced and has to restart as well. It is like the springs are not holding it tight enough, but I dont see them as adjustable and we did not have this problem before. Can someone help.:(

Remove the tub nut and center the spin basket, this should fix it.

I think you mean to remove the big nut that I purchased the wrench to get on and off? I did not see that there was any movement available there. I put the tub over the big rubber mount it sets on and cannot see how it could move anywhere?

Your spin basket, if it is wobbling during spin, is not centered on the cone support.
