Hi
Well, here's the way I would start. This is in order of ease, not necessarily likelihood of the problem, which is probably the timer. Of course, that would be the most expensive repair.
1. check the hot water line to make certain there is nothing clogging the screens in the inlet valve and the hose coming from the hot water tap.
2. operate it on warm wash, see if you get warm water or just cold water. If you get warm water the problem is probably your timer and youwill have to replace it.
3. Take off the console and inspect your connections on wires from the temp selection switch to the timer. Checks the wires for any break, exposed wire etc, and clean the contacts, reconnect and try it again.
4. Take off the cabinet and check to see if you have 120 v coming to the hot water connection at the inlet valves. If you do, the problem is with the inlet valves and it needs to be replaced.
If none of these solve your problem, then the problem is probably with the temp selection switch or the timer. I think the timer is the more likely culprit, although the tem selection switch is the less expensive of the two. At this point you will just have to try one or the other.
Good luck and let us know what you find out.
