Hi.
New guy here.
Heard nothing but great things about this forum from all my friends.
Need help.
Can’t figure out this problem.
Whirlpool refrigerator less than 5 years old.
Model number WRB329DMBM00.
Serial number KX4211572.
From the time the refrigerator was delivered and installed the digital display for both the freezer and refrigerator were set on the number 4 and both were clearly visible when the door was opened.
A few days ago I opened the refrigerator door to take out a container of milk and noticed that both number 4’s were gone and replaced with dashes (-) as shown in the symbol.
Additionally both the refrigerator and freezer are not cooling and all the food I recently bought was spoiled and had to be thrown out.
Was is the problem and how do I fix it ?

Good Morning.
Update.
I disconnected the refrigerator from the outlet for 1/2 an hour.
Made no difference.
When I plugged it back in the dashes (-) came back on immediately.

I registered yesterday.
Now I can’t log in with either my user name or email address.
The password I created for this forum is not working either.
The only way I can makes entries is as a guest.
Why ?
What is going on ?
Can someone please help ?

Wow you guys must really be busy.
This thread has been up for a week.
Got 54 views but no answers.
That’s ok no problem.
This message is to let you all know that the issue has been resolved.
For anyone who has the same problem the solution appears below.
The part that needs to be replaced is called a “Refrigerator Control Jazz Board”.
Whirlpool part number WPW10503278.
Was able to replace the board myself.
Very quick and easy.
Took less than 10 minutes.
The new board needs to be programmed after it’s installed.
That’s no big deal and easy to do.
Programming instructions came with the new board.
Check online for videos on replacing the board and programming.
Also check online for prices on the board.
I was able to buy the board for under $30.00.
