A couple of things that stop ice production.
Its got to be cold enough. Somewhere around 0 to 10 degrees F.
The ice bin needs to be in place.
The door switches need to be depressed, as they would be when the door is shut.
The ice bail arm needs to be down in the on position.

Freezer is 0 degrees
Bin is there
Door switches are depressed (like i am)
There is no arm on the ice maker

Guess this topic is dead. Perhaps I'll try another ice maker.
