I have had Maytag Bravo since August 2017. Same cracked lid hinge area as above. Maytag replaced it for free in Dec 2018, after warranty expired and then replaced it again less than 3 months later. Has been ok until Dec 2021. Now cracked again. My plan is to purchase new lid and install it myself.

I have the same issue with my Bravo XL (top loader). We bought the washer in late 2018. The left hinge on the lid is cracked. A new lid is $256 and is on nation-wide backorder since at least November 2021. The lid is not a part that should ever fail, much less in three years.

Purchased the Maytag washer model number MVWB765FW4 from Home Depot in February 2020. The plastic on the left side of the glass lid broke. Can't wash our clothes, machine will not work with broke lid. The lid broke on New Year's day 2021 and still waiting for Home Depot extended warranty technician to come out and replace it. As of today, 01/11/2022, the soonest Home Depot extended warranty technician can be here to replace the lid is Monday, 01/17/2022. We shall see if they bring a new lid. This is unacceptable!

I have the same problem with this washer. Going on the third lid. I'm thinking about filing a Class A action suit. I have seen so many with the same problem. Maytag does not want to aknowledge the problem.
