This thermal fuse is for the lower oven only. Gene.

If the upper oven is not heating and the display is blank, then you need them both. If the problem is just the upper oven not heating, then the thermostat Part number: AP3008987
should be enough. If the display is blank and you do not know if the oven will heat, order both the fuse Part number: AP3110028
and the thermostat. Gene.

We have a single oven whirlpool and had the same problem with the self clean. Electronic controls are dead, door won't open. Can't find fuses? If they are inside the door, that doesn;t help us...door is locked.
Aagh!

I have Whirlpool Double wall oven GBD307 which stopped working after self clean cycle. There was no display and the upper door oven door was locked. After reading many posts on internet including at this site, I purchased and replaced both the thermal fuses parts from appliancepartspros - AP3885687 Thermal overload (for upper oven) and AP3110028 Thermal Fuse (for control panel). After changing both the fuse when I turned the circuit breaker... there is burning smell coming from the control panel. Needless to say, there is still no display and door is locked. There was no smell coming from control panel with circuit breaker ON before changing the fuses. Any Pros suggestion is welcome on what could have gone wrong. or how to fix the next issue.

Did you ever get an answer? What did you do?
We have same problem with single Whirlpool wall oven.
We can’t get to any controls/ fuses, etc. because door is locked, and any fix for opening door, does not work: no latch to hook on to.
Thanks, Sara
