Sounds like we have different problems. I haven't had time to test my Tstat yet.

The mighty google tells me your flashing #4 occurs when power is applied to the fridge and the control board goes through it's cycles and didn't detect a damper connection.

So its your air damper thats bad. [FIXED] Flashing Number 4 on Refrigerator side

Punch your model number into this site to get you part number for the damper and then punch that mfg part# into google shopping to get the lowest online price. But then check ******** anyway cause there are people that will cannibalize old appliances for these parts cheap.

Thanks for the detailed reply. After unplugging for 24 hours and then plugging back in, my fridge mysteriously started working again and the flashing 4 went away.

I have a frigidaire FGHB2866PP3 GALLERY. We had a power outage for about 24 hrs. Now nothing is coming on (no control panel, no lights, and no conpresser). I checked the outlet it is plugged into and it is still working.
