Bought the Maytag mhw5630 which has steam function but doesn’t have the sanitize option. Could I simply swap front control panels to “unlock” the sanitize feature or would I also need to swap the ACU unit (main control board)?
I checked the part numbers of each unit and they do not share part number so I’m guessing I would need to swap both components. I can’t see any other hardware difference that would be a limiting factor, other than the two components ( acu & front control panel).

Not sure if anyone has done this?? Perhaps someone could weigh in with their opinion.
Thanks in advance!
