Good evening.

The unit powers up.
All the functions on the control panel appear set when selected.
It is not throwing any error codes.

I have already disassembled once.
Continuity has been checked on the thermal fuses and thermostat. There appears to be a total of 4.
Thermal fuse part# 6931EL3003D was bad and has been replaced.
The resistance on the heating element was checked. I observed 20 AB, 20 BC and 50 on AC if I recall correctly. According to LG that 50 should be below 10.
I checked the strings and they looked good.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Just tested the continuity on the door switch.
It appears to be dead.

I did not do a voltage test on the heating element. Just a continuity test.

As stated earlier I have already found a bad door switch and thermal fuse.
I have not tested the belt switch as of yet.

The unit does nothing when I start the cycle.
The LED does say drying.

Replaced the switch.
The one on the door was def dead. I checked the continuity on the new one. Both sides are alive. Where as on the old one, one side was dead.

Still nothing.

However when I push the start button I do hear something. It says drying. So it could be strings heating up.

I noticed the check filter indicator is on. Everything is clean there.

Advice? Ideas?

I have not checked the drum switch as of yet.
