Complaint, will not start. Sensor light comes on.

Diagnostic displays F1 error, primary control failure. No other errors in the memory.

Replaced the board WPW10111617

Start attempt ... same thing. No start, sensor light comes on.

Error now is F2: keypad stuck. Performed tests and the result would be to replace the user interface board. WP8563974

No other errors in memory. Placing the old main board, back to F1 and no other.

Wow, the first board was $236 and if it also needs the second, that's another $265

Also, the repair page said: "control is glued to panel. Panel could be damaged during replacement"

Looking for your advise.

Check all the connections to the computer and touch panel. Re-seat them and see if it makes a difference.

On some older dryers "F2" can be a thermister problem. I'd check it just to rule it out. If you're not sure how here is a video about it.

Thanks, although I did check the connectors on the main board, I'll go back and check again, as well as checking the temp thermistor and running more of the diagnostic tests.
