Maytag french door bottom freezer, icemaker is located in upper left side of refridgerator, ice maker is making ice but water is leaking into ice bin and freezing around auger causing it not to turn. could it be the dual water inlet valve and if so where is it located, thank you

Clean all of the ice out of the bin and raise the "bail" shut off arm. That should stop the ice maker. Let it sit for a day and see if any water or ice is accumulating.

If not, its probably the ice maker head that's causing the problem. Does your IM look like this?
