Have you used a multimeter to check if the switch is bad?

Hi,
In order to use any multimeter, it is necessary to to begin by removing the
control panel to access the back plate. Unfortunately, I have found no one
able to tell me how to remove the control panel on this combo washer dryer.
I have removed all of the front dials....but the control panel has to be removed in order to remove the washer timer knob. But I am at a loss
trying to remove the control panel.
