I have a general monogram side-by-side-by-side refrigerator. the LED (in the ceiling) on the fresh side doesn't come on when the door is open. I replaced the LED panel with a new one yesterday and still doesn't come on. any ideas? all of the other lights come on without any problems

Hard to get to. You have to pull down a whole electric box in the center (6 screws) and then there are two screws holding the transformer up. Before buying a new transformer check the voltage on the input side. Should be 120V. Should be something like 20V on the output side. If input side ok but output only, say, 1 volt, the transformer is bad.
