Had some water boil over and it got around one of the knobs....Tried drying it out with a hair dryer and let it set for a couple weeks. When I tried to ignite it the knob just shorts out. Just unhooked everything. Is it worth having it fixed(if it can be) or would be just as costly to buy a new one. It's only about a 250-300$ too. Thanks

is relatively inexpensive and will probably take you 30 to 40 minutes to replace and test the cooktop for operation and ignition.

Well the switch was toast, bought a new one and installed it, which was pretty simple. But as soon as I plugged it back up it just started clicking and the knobs were all off. Could something else have been damaged ?

Blue2016, Recheck and make sure the switch or igniter wires weren't pinched or shorted between the panels or cooktop. If all's OK, then you have to presume the shorted switch, damaged the spark module Part number: AP3778816
, and it will need to be replaced.
