Hello!

I have a Kenmore Oven Model 79096019401 and the Hot Surface Indicator Light stays on constantly since I replaced the bulb. It had been blinking on and off. Now it just stays on. I've been trying to diagnose online but I'm not sure what the issue is. All of the four burners work perfectly. Please send some help my way!

I went to the Sears parts site.
They have a wiring diagram even though it is poor quality.

The hot surface light looks like it is controlled by a small thermostat.
Problem is I went through the parts and cannot find it.

All I can suggest is that you trace the indicator wires back till you get to it.

Note that it may be part of the infinite switches so then you will have to find out which one is bad as all 4 will be wired in parallel.
