Please check it. Find your model number - AppliancePartsPros.com Could be a timer problem but you need to get a wiring diagram to be able to check this.

The ROPER dryer model# is RED4440VQ1 ser# M00514067 sometimes it will partially dry on the hi heat 30 min setting, no other settings will heat, they just blow out air.

Set the timer to a position that you know does not heat. Unplug the unit. Check that from A to B on the timer. It should be 0 ohms. Use your most sensitive meter scale.
