Hello,
I have a SHU4306 Bosch dishwasher. I have fixed (resoldered) the Heater relay on this DW already. I have a new issue. When I push the On/off button the DW doesn't always start. The light will blink on briefly then shut off. If I do this a few time the machine will then start. I suspect a faulty on/off switch or wiring connection. It seems to intermittent to be a control board issue. Are there any other switches I should be checking?
Thanks Dale

check to see if the "hole" where the actual on/ off switch button goes back and forth is dirty.. try pressing the button in all the way slowly ... you may want to try spraying contact cleaner around the button, but it does sound like switch is bad ..

how are the two / three wires coming into the d/w ? the black and white wires ( and ground ) .. are the wire nuts tight enough ? is there any oxidation or corrosion on those wires ?

Well at long last I've gotten to the bottom of it!!!! I resoldered one of the components on the control board! Viola! It works like a charm. FYI it was a rectangular white box maybe 1/2 the size of a sugar cube. 2 contacts were loose.
As an fyi. This is the 2nd control unit repair I've made. I had to resolder the heater relay about a year ago (Fixed the never ending rinse cycle problem)
