Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 3/29/2014(UTC) Posts: 3		The dryer stopped heating. I youtubed it and checked the thermostat and the thermal fuse. The fuse/cutoff is dead. Checked with Ohmometer. It's been suggested to replace both the thermostat and the fuse. I have found the thermostat on the appliance part site but I can't find the fuse. There is no part number on the fuse either. Does anyone know what thermal fuse/cut off is compatible with thermostat part number: AP3776463? There are two thermostats on the heater assembly. One is the hi limit thermostat and the other is a manual reset safety thermostat. It has a button to reset it if tripped. The hi limit thermostat is part number AP3776463 and the manual reset safety is AP5646585. The operating thermostat and another safety thermostat. Eric

I was havin the same problem: dryer runs but no heat. I checked the heating element and both safetys located at the element and they are fine. My problem is that I have NO IDEA how to get to the operating thermostat and the thermostat located at the front of the dryer. How do you access those parts??????:confused:
