Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/15/2015(UTC) Posts: 2		Our Whirlpool Ultimate Care II washing machine started making a very loud noise during a load today. The water will drain, however it won't spin or agitate. I did some troubleshooting and it looks like the coupling is good. I am able to rotate it both directions and all plastic appears to be intact, although I didn't take it apart. From other reading online it sounds like it could be the clutch, although I don't want to blindly replace parts without knowing for sure.
