Hello,

I have a Whirlpool Fridge Top Freeezer in which a Icemaker was
installed and cannot get the water to the ice tray to stop filling.
Returned the orginal icemaker and re-installed another and have
the same problem water fills the ice tray at a very fast rate and
will not stop. Icemaker does make ice correctly, but water flow
does not stop to tray. Responses are greatly appreciated.

Unplug the fridge.
If the water does not stop then the fill valve needs replacing.

I have similar issue. Procrastinated in hooking up icemaker. Finally did and water won't stop flowing. Did you replace water valve and did that fix it?
