Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 2/19/2015(UTC) Posts: 1		Maytag electric dryer DE412 will not shut off. Heats and dries just fine on both auto and permanent press cycles. Door switch works (it will shut it off). Timer cycle never quite gets all the way to 0 is what it looks like to me. And if I force it to 0, it still runs. Only the door switch will stop it. Once stopped, I can close the door and it will stay stopped. Next step in my diagnostic is to use the timed dry cycle, but I haven't done that yet. Nor have I tried air fluff.
