I'm having the same problem with a Kenmore Side by Side. The icemaker bin was pulled out to help unload the area below that had become too packed with items to remove the stuff. When the bin was put back in - we have only been able to get crushed ice. The rotating gear thing (freezer wall) moves freely and wll turn the coil shaped ice feeder in the bin. I'm out of ideas.
