Hey all. Ice maker 628358. I broke the drive gear off the nose of the power unit. I know, I know..."Do Not Rotate Manually." LOL

Anyway...I have found many a place willing to sell me the ENTIRE front portion of the ice maker...but all I really want is the gear. Can't I buy just the gear? Anyone know? Beuller? Beuller?

Thanks everyone!

I am also looking for that part plus the bushing that attaches to it from the other side and slips on the ice dump shaft. The picture of the gear that you show is not the correct one. I bought one of those gears before opening the unit and then found the gear to be completely different. Also the barbs broke off of the bushing mentioned above. Besides the motor module number of 628358 on the gear there is also either A 40611-1M or perhaps 4 40611-1M on the gear. Sears of course does not list these parts as being separately available.

I have the same issue. both pieces of mine are broken. Were you ever able to get the parts without having to buy the whole motor module?
