just got this machine and am having odd noises. Would like to find exact service manual, but internet search will only come close. The machine is a Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum WTW8500BWO 4.5 cubic foot load capacity. I have found a manual for the Cabrio WTW6200S it appears close but this unit has direct drive with an agitator. Mine has direct drive different wash plate. Otherwise looks very similar. Anyone have crossover info or correct manual? Thanks

Thank you for the advice. This actually a two week old unit that has had a service call two days ago. The drain pump makes a loud buzzing when the machine is extracting and the drain pump runs devoid of water. The tech claims it is normal. I say bull, it did not do this for the first ~five loads. I used to service commercial Speed Queen, Wascomat, and Huebsch dryers. Have been servicing all types of commercial building equipment for thirty+ years and get infuriated when companies don't admit their errors. I am quite familiar with the equipment and don't appreciate being snowed by Whirlpool. If this is indeed "normal" they have an engineering problem and need to admit that. Sounds as though the pump motor rotor/impeller is running out of balance? Just need the proper road map for the machine to diagnose and repair.
