the red light in front of "CONTROL LOCKED" is lit how do i get rid of it?

Take off the top panel and you should find some tech notes that may tell you how to reset it and will tell you how to put it into a diagnostic mode and run some tests. If you cannot put it into diagnostic mode then the control unit is suspect.
