You have to place the oven thermometer in the middle of the oven and open the oven door about 10 minutes after it got preheated. Gene.

I set the oven to 350 wait till it beeps then wait 15 minutes and the oven thermometer reads 150, I still don't what it could be. cooldad52

If there is nothing wrong then replace the relay board (#14 on the diagram). - The part number for the relay board is AP4101944 Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for MAGIC CHEF 6898VRV | AppliancePartsPros.com Gene.

I had it on for 4hrs and it started at 400 and after 4hrs it read 200 it won't hold the temperature i don't what else it could be. Help cooldad52

If this part is no longer available, you can try to rebuild the old part through PCBR.BIZ Gene.

Do you know Frigidaire Stoves? Our oven is giving us the same problem that you responded to- the flame goes on when you turn the oven on, but the temperature doesn't rise. Thank you. Joe Weiss
