I have a no start, no power to J6/ compressor off a new ADC> The reefer showed no previous signs of hard starting, temperature deviation, or any odd noises. I have power to the FF cold control, the lights are on and I have the evaporator fan spinning away. I was an appliance tech once upon a time, but I am out of ideas and i'm hoping somebody has an idea of what i might have mis-wired., or misunderstood.

If you have voltage across the cold control pins, you have a bad cold control.

Is the condenser/compressor fan on? Whenever it is on the compressor should be on as they are wired in parallel. Why did you replace the ADC? Below is a manual that should be a close match if not the same as your unit. Hopefully it will be helpful. Sorry but I do not know what the above means.
Perhaps try again and if that does not work start a new post and refer back to this one |

no voltage to condenser fan I installed the ADC as it was billed( on several sites) as "the fix" for non start along with other defrost related problems.Any idea where J6 (on the ADC) gets power? I have the guide, that came with the reefer. Thanks as always for any and all help given Paul

Any idea where J6 (on the ADC) gets power? I am not quite sure I understand the question.
If you are asking about circuitry on the board I cannot help as manufacturers do not publish board schematics. I would think there is a relay on the board that closes.
If you mean power to the board It looks like: Pin 1 black is line Pin 10 light blue is Neutral |
