I have a Summit under counter freezer. The handle is loose. I looked everywhere to see if there is a way to tighten the handle. I called Summit and they said the handle can't be tightened and that I have to replace the door. It cost over $200 to change the door. Does anyone have any idea if there is a way to tighten it? The handle looks like a vertical towel bar and it looks like there are rubber discs or washer between the handle ends and the door surface. Help! I have attached an image yamitibug attached the following image(s):

How loose is it? If you peel the sealing strip back around the door you should find the screws that were used to attach the strip and the inner panel. If there are none, then it may have been glued: use glue removal ideas: warm the edge, peel with plastic scraper, etc. If glued, you have to have a way to put it back together: more glue. Freezer resistant glue that sticks to and does not melt your surfaces. Clean them super well, use some alcohol, maybe sand lightly with 1000 grit paper, just to scuff. Then glue and clamp just tight enough: use a caul to distribute pressure evenly!
