Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 10/10/2009(UTC) Posts: 2		:mad: I have a 2003 Frigidaire Side by Side Refrigerator that is now freezing the food on the refrig side. I took everything out, turned it off, cleaned it and put all the shelves back in. I then placed three cups of water on the shelves; one at the bottom, one in the middle, and one at the top. I turned the freezer and refrig back on to 2. The freezer started freezing the food and the refrig was cool but not freezing. I then turned the refrig and freezer up to 3. Now the water is freezing in the refrig. The freezer seems to be working fine. I see a hole in the back of the refrig behind the veggie drawer. I looked back there and felt the coils. Is there suppose to be a door on that opening? Knowing my luck it's going to be the $200.00 part that I need to replace. Any ideas?

Have replaced the cups of water in the refrig and will see what happens. The fan is working but I don't know where to look for the damper control. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. It's been about 3 hours since I did the above. The water is freezing in the top cup but not the middle or bottom. Does this mean the control ($200.00) part is the culprit?
