The display is so dim I can barely read it.
it is ser#15266042SO.
Suggestions as to a fix.

The control board has a problem.

Unfortunately the control board is missing from the listing.
You will have to call them to see if it is still available.

Note that there are companies out there that will fix obsolete control boards, just Google "appliance timer repair"

If this is a fluorescent type display you may be able to fix it yourself.
Often a dim display is due to a problem with an electrolytic capacitor on the control board, see the below info.
