The left two burners are the simmer burners. One has been out since we moved in 2 years ago and the second just went out. All other burners work fine. When I turn the knob there is no spark or gas on these two burners. However if I turn any of the other burners to light them these two burners spark. So the spark mechanism works. In doing research I think it might be the potentiometer. My question is though since I am not getting any gas from these two burners as well if the potentiometer goes bad does it stop the selinoid from openeing and releasing gas??? If so then sounds like I just need to change the potentiometer. Someone told me it might be the whole simmer controller that needs to be replaced. Thoughts????

Thank you

Someone sent me the repair book for this model and it shows the simmer control module under the toe panel. I took off the toe panel and everything else in the diagram is there except the simmer control module. Any ideas where it might be?
