Hi! First time poster. My dryer stopped heating so I took out and inspected the heating element, and sure enough there was a break in the coil. I went and picked up a new heating element and installed it last night, and as soon as I turned on the dryer there was a pop and a burning smell and upon inspection the new heating element had snapped! The red wire side had popped right at the base of the terminal. So now I'm out $80 and scared to buy a new one as it might just break too! I obviously did something wrong. I just have no clue as to what that is.. Any help would be so greatly appreciated. Thanks. -Trip
