Hello, thank you for asking your question here. If you hold down the lid switch and turn the drum, does the drum start to spin? Appliance Repair Portland

In your original post you said when you hold the lid switch down in the spin part of the cycle you can hear the motor running? Now you don't hear the motor running? Appliance Repair Portland

Alright that's what I needed to know. Just wanted to make sure before I gave you an answer. The basket drive is bad. It comes with the clutch. You can replace just the clutch if there is no oil on the clutch. 99% of the time when this happens the basket drive goes bad and leaks oil down onto the clutch that's why you replace both. You can buy the basket drive with the clutch assembly. See link below. Basket Drive & Clutch LinkAppliance Repair Portland

I would just replace the clutch to start. Whenever a washer doesnt spin but I know the coupler is good and the motor and transmission are good, its always the clutch. A new clutch should fix it
