I have a Samsung side by side, model RS2577SL Bought it just over 10 years ago and has been a good fridge. Lately the fridge side does not work, even though the freezer and ice maker works perfectly. I got a manual and took the duct work off in the inside after I got a code that the refer evaporator fan was in error.
The fan is out now and I reassembled the fridge just to keep the freezer working properly. I have disassembled the fan and would like to bench test it. The printing on the fan says it runs on 12VDC @ .29amps or 3.48 watts. There are 3 wires, black, gray, and yellow. I assume two are for power, and the third is a sensor wire. Can someone tell me which is which?

I think you can contact to Samsung service centre, they are told you what is the best option for you, and solve your problem properly.:)
