We just moved into a house and it has a 48" GE Monogram range with the grill. It's missing the grill grate (see pic below). I found a parts diagram here: Here's what my setup looks like: I have two questions: 1) From the parts diagram, it looks like I need two of the grill grates. The opening is only about 10" wide by 18" long, so not sure if that's correct or not. Not sure why they'd put two 5" wide grates on there. 2) Near the front of my picture, there's a slanted part that goes into the drain tube. We cannot figure out how that is used. We know it goes to a pan below, but can't figure out how you'd get anything in there to begin with. Any help is appreciated.

Here are your parts Parts for GE ZDP48N6RH1SS Range - AppliancePartsPros.comHere is the operators manual. http://products.geapplia...DF&Name=49-80380.pdf[COLOR="Blue"]1) From the parts diagram, it looks like I need two of the grill grates. Probably has two so that the grates are easier to handle/clean. See below. Note that each square is one inch. Click on the picture for mere views etc. Part number: AP3793578

One side of the grates (side A) is ridged and should be used for foods where you want the fat to run off, such as steak or hamburger patties. The ridges are sloped so the fat runs toward the front of the grill, into a drain hole and down to a drip tray below. |
