Hello
When I pulled out the filter on top of my dryer, a plastic "to go" lid fell into it. I have tried to fetch it out and i eeven turned on the dryer for a second. It made a noise and stopped. I have removed the back and stuck my hand up through the hole but don't feel anything. Should I take off the front? I am a woman and don't have a man to help. I can call a friend. Would you please help me?
Thank-you
Betty

Here are your parts

I am not sure what hole you stuck your hand into so am assuming it was exhaust and you probably could not reach it.

Below is a video.
It is for replacing the blower wheel which you do not want to do but it should still be helpful to you.
You want to remove the blower housing.
I would undo the top as shown just to be sure you do not snag any wires when removing/reinstalling the blower housing.
Do not remove the front.
Then remove the rear cover and the blower housing so you can remove the object.
